The Service Provider Innovation Forum (SPIF), a group of tech scouts from global network operators who believe that entrepreneurs and startups are an important element of their global innovation strategy, meets in Silicon Valley every month to discover new companies and new technologies.

Attendees are cautioned to use only the address portion into their GPS to be directed to the correct building on campus.

SERVICE PROVIDER INNOVATION FORUM

Since 2001, this community of global Service Providers (SPIF) have met in Silicon Valley to discover deployment-ready communications startups. These innovation scouts currently represent more than 50 global Communication Service Providers and specialize in startup partnerships. The SPIF meets monthly to review young companies who have been recommended by global telcos, communication vendors, investors or the Telecom Council community at large.

CALENDAR

PITCH

Speakers at SPIF meetings are early-stage, communication startups who are far enough into their product development that they are ready to work with carriers. Their objective may be to run trials, test deployments, validate an idea or pitch a complete network-ready solution. No matter the reason, our Service Provider members are keen to learn about new technologies and products and give feedback. Pitching the SPIF is free and by invitation only with applications taken on a rolling basis all year.

APPLY

SPONSOR

Companies may not sponsor the Service Provider Forum or the Telecom Council, though occasionally individual meetings will be open for sponsorship. Meeting sponsors may choose between branding, speaking, or topic sponsorship based on how much they want to influence an agenda. Click below for a list of meetings currently open for sponsorship along with the benefits and cost of the sponsorship options.

APPLY

HOST

Companies with a board room or conference room that holds more than 40 guests may host a SPIF meeting. For the cost of catering, you can bring innovation scouts from global fixed, wireless and cable telcos to your facility and supporting your brand as an integral part of the innovation ecosystem. Plus, you get to sit in on these private meetings for an inside view on the Service Provider community.
