RCR Local comes to Silicon Valley for a social evening centered around the Silicon Valley's WiMax 4G new test network. You will have the opportunity to hear and interact with one of Sprint 4G's major customers, Fox 12 KPDX, discussing how the station uses 4G technology to transmit broadband video. The Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network, will also be on hand to discuss the need for sufficient wireless infrastructure to support 4G technology in the Silicon Valley. Join us for food, drink, plenty of good conversation, and a chance to win a MiFi Personal Hotspot from Sprint. Registration is free for Telecom Council Members. $20 for non-members and includes 1 drink ticket for people who register on this website. Registration will also be available on site for the same fee, but will not include drinks.
