Snapdragon is Qualcomm's high end mobile chipset platform, and in many ways is representative of the future of mobile computing. Snapdragon chipsets, which power fast power-efficient smartphones and smartbooks, are being rolled into products from over 15 manufacturers because of the faster processors, better graphics, lower power requirements, and small size. Tightly integrated processing, baseband, and communications functions provide a high level of functionality, multiple communications options, and minimal power consumption. Based on such modern processors, new types of mobile devices can emerge, and new functionalities can added to existing smart devices. This event will introduce you to the Snapdragon team, get your hands on some Snapdragon products, and give you the opportunity to talk to Mark Frankel about Qualcomm's vision for the Snapdragon platform and mobile computing. We will try to accommodate all private meeting requests between at the beginning of the event, including press interviews. The event is free, and we particularly encourage wireless software engineers, wireless product managers, and anyone who is building, or is interested in building, next generation wireless and Internet products and services.
