Members of the Council’s Executive Forum gather with their peers several times each year to discuss topics and trends that will affect the telecom industry as a whole. For this meeting, our discussion is led by Verizon Communication’s Innovation Team which recently expanded into the Bay Area. Verizon Communications pushes the limits in telecom services; they are willing to try new things, innovate, incorporate outside innovation, and are often the first to rollout new services including BREW

Members of the Council’s Executive Forum gather with their peers several times each year to discuss topics and trends that will affect the telecom industry as a whole. For this meeting, our discussion is led by Verizon Communication’s Innovation Team which recently expanded into the Bay Area. Verizon Communications pushes the limits in telecom services; they are willing to try new things, innovate, incorporate outside innovation, and are often the first to rollout new services including BREW on the wireless side and FIOS on the broadband side. Mr. Khurjekar’s and his team are responsible for finding and cultivating innovation for Verizon and they have recently expanded to include offices in the Bay Area. Learn more about what they are doing during this presentation which will have plenty of time for discussion. As always with our Executive Forum Meetings, it’s a two-way conversation. The insights of our Executive Forum Members, who are industry insiders, are as valuable to Verizon as learning their vision is to us. More on the Executive Forum of the Telecom Council: Our Executive Forum is exclusively for senior executives and decision makers from Telecom Council member companies and their executive-level guests – this includes C-level people from smaller companies and VP-level people from large corporations. This elite Forum has an online community and holds a quarterly executive-only meetings – generally 2-hour lunch meetings with 30 - 40 executives – to discuss the big picture of what is happening in our industry - from changes in technology, services, business fundamentals, and of course, the carriers. We encourage all our executive members to participate in these conversations. This event is free for Telecom Council members, and open to executive level guests for $200. If you are not sure if you are a member of the Executive Forum, or if you would like to attend this meeting as a guest, please feel free e-mail Walter Caerlang.
