The Telecom Council is a corporate
membership-based organization with two levels of benefits - from the
passive level benefits of meeting the right people at member-only
meetings, speaking opportunities, our LinkedIn Group, to active level
benefits of influencing agendas, community research, personal
introductions, and Council leadership eligibility.
Consider the cost of
membership versus an alternative: You could join the Telecom Council
and make rapid, local progress getting your product installed with a
few global carriers. You will travel to Head Offices as your SECOND
meeting, having been presented by an inside champion. OR, instead of
The Council, you could work hard to get a meeting opportunity from a
single carrier like NTT DoCoMo, travel to Tokyo for your first
meeting, have a meeting lacking the right people, stay in a hotel for
two days, get jet lag, miss three days at the office. Total cost of
the trip is about the same as a one-year membership. But with the
Council, you do it all locally, and you do it with multiple carriers
or other partners, and you can leverage the system all year long.
Membership saves your company time and money.
